Lilydale Fire Brigade relies on Volunteers to run the brigade.

 Apart from firefighting, which is the core activity of the brigade, members are involved in:

  • Community Education
  • Junior fire brigade
  • Fundraising
  • Secretarial
  • Gardening
  • Maintenance of equipment

New members must complete a six month probationary period before attending fires but are registered with the brigade and participate in brigade activities. They also must complete "minimum skills" training.

What are the benefits of volunteering?
