Saturday 7th November 2009 – Lillydale Lake 10am – 3pm This coming Saturday the Shire of Yarra Ranges are holding a Community Safety Expo at the Lillydale Lake – “What you need to know to stay safe this Summer”
There will be Giveaways, Demonstrations and Competitions on the day. Lot’s to see and do. Emergency and Safety Demonstrations including Police Helicopter, FireTrucks, Your Emergency Services@Work, Red Cross, Animal Aid, Road Safety, Jaws of Life, Water and Quad bike safety. For the kids – the can come along and meet Captain Koala from the CFA, participate in the Passport to Safety Activity, Also the CFA Smokehouse – learn how to get down low and go – go – go !!! For the whole family – get advice about developing your Bushfire Survival Plan and try out the CFA’s new online tool to assess how safe your home is in a fire
